Kate is the Federal Member for Jagajaga and the voice in Canberra for our local community. She lives locally with her family and is passionate about supporting people across Jagajaga.
Kate understands the pressures that families, households and local businesses are facing, including the cost of living. As your local voice in the Federal Government, Kate has been advocating for much needed support to help relieve these pressures, as well as stronger local healthcare, and boosting secure employment.
A working parent with two young children, Kate is a strong advocate for a quality education, access to more affordable child care and paid parental leave – and proud of the achievements of the Government on these reforms.
Kate understands the urgent need to act on climate change.
As the Government’s Special Envoy for Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience, she’s working to ensure Australia is investing in a job-creating renewable energy future, reducing emissions and protecting our local environment.
